Touch Grass
Touch Grass (formerly Sip and Paint 254) was created as a response to the growing need for intentional, community-centered spaces where creatives and young people can reconnect with themselves, nature, and one another outside the pressures of urban life and commercial nightlife culture. Based in Nairobi, the project is an outdoor music and arts gathering that encourages people to unplug, slow down, and engage with art and community in a more meaningful and restorative way.
The festival centers emerging and non-mainstream artists, DJs, and performers who often lack access to visible and well-resourced platforms despite their talent and cultural contribution. Through music, games, art, food, and open-air experiences, Touch Grass creates an accessible environment where audiences can discover alternative sounds and creative voices while experiencing rest, joy, and belonging.
